A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not making art, I enjoy writing, gardening and reading! I am currently working on publishing a couple children’s books as well as writing another.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art to create peace within myself as well as to share messages of light and empowerment to others.

3. What inspires you?

I am often inspired by the energy of the natural earth and the energy that surrounds me. The world is full of vibrant life that I aspire to communicate with my work.

4. What/who are your influences?

My biggest influence has been the creator Hayao Miyazaki due to his strength and his determination. He communicates strong willed messages with his work while balancing the story with extraordinary imagery. My goal is to be as determined in my own work as he is.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Hayao Miyazaki!
