A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not painting, I’m reading, walking outside, cooking and doing side jobs.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because of the rush of excitement when coming across something that I feel like I have to paint, satisfaction of mixing the color until it’s just right, and the feeling of brushing paint on the canvas.

3. What inspires you?

The colors, shapes, and intricacies found in plants and flowers.

4. What/who are your influences?

I am most influenced by what I find in nature and by other artists who use nature as their inspiration.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Hard question but might have to be one of the greats: Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, etc.
